People who know me generally all say that I don’t seem to be disabled like other people. My family laughs and teases me in a complimentary way that I somehow make people forget about the wheelchair in which I sit. I always take that as a high compliment. I’m glad they stop thinking about the wheelchair when they are with me but the question is, why? Yesterday we had a lady say something so significant to me. The lady at the Dept. of Motor Vehicles (Secretary of State) who only saw me for a few minutes, smiled and referred to me as “technically handicapped.” My daughter laughed in agreement with her and pointed out that here was another person seeing me as not actually disabled. I believe this is a spiritual thing. I don’t believe in my handicap as permanent or even see myself as disabled, therefore that emanates to others as well. Very interesting phenomenon. I appear to others as not belonging in a wheelchair even though my body believes I do. Paralyzed from the chest down, hands too. A C-6 spinal cord injury, I’m “technically handicapped.” By faith I say I’m technically healed. But that reality is rising up and the spiritual truth will override the physical. It’s becoming more real every day. I am pursuing the full manifestation of my healing through Christ. I have learned a lot about faith and healing and I like sharing this with others. Thus the blog. I have a Youtube channel, "lynnesuszek", where I teach and share testimonies. Please check out our ministry at www.Hisability.com!

Just Symptoms

We often hear “don’t just mask the symptoms, get rid of the real problem.” I’ve come to the point of believing that all we have to fight is symptoms. Jesus took all sickness from us Fake symptoms are all we are dealing with really. Allergies, flu, colds, fevers, itching, pain and paralysis and numbness are just symptoms.

Mental illnesses such as schizophrenia are very spiritual. Entities talking to people explains it best. But nothing is wrong with the person other than believing the voices. Explaining the truth in love does help. They can be freed through a series of decisions. And love helps! Kind actions do help. I have seen much improvement with people who want our help.

If you can believe that symptoms are not representative of an actual problem then you are progressing toward believing that you are SOZO. If what I’m saying is true then that means the Bible is true when it says you are saved, healed, delivered etc. I’ve been fighting off things this way and with good results. If we can change what we are thinking of a sickness or infirmity of any kind, we are 90% of the way to seeing it go. Trouble is, we tend to go back to our old thinking every day. Renewing our minds and believe in the truth of being well will turn the key to symptoms leaving.

Don’t let symptoms fool you. Here’s how you know you’re winning:

  1. Symptoms come and go often
  2. You have good days and bad days
  3. Symptoms change from one thing to another.
  4. Symptoms leave and come back
  5. Symptoms move around your body
  6. Sudden change for worse when you pray (means you have nudged it!) keep pushing!
  7. Symptoms can be distracted by your activity. Completely absorb your mind with a movie and you will not think about symptoms. This helps remove their strength in our believing in them. The more you distract yourself from them the faster they leave.

These signs are helpful tips to indicate that symptoms are just symptoms. If you stop believing there’s more to it, they will leave. Conversely, if you believe in them strongly, it can kill you.

Autism is correctable. Encouraging normal behavior and practice of normal activities will lead to normalcy. Thinking that a disease is real will prevent family from expecting improvement. Habits of acting out of control will continue if not curbed. Some discipline is necessary without being cruel or abusive. One of my granddaughters was diagnosed with a form of autism early which caused “meltdowns.” With prayer, her ability to speak has been absolutely normal. Super intelligent, at 6 years old she shows no outward signs of it anymore. She keeps surprising her parents with improvement. Prayer and even deliverance seem to have been factors. God has been on the move!
