People who know me generally all say that I don’t seem to be disabled like other people. My family laughs and teases me in a complimentary way that I somehow make people forget about the wheelchair in which I sit. I always take that as a high compliment. I’m glad they stop thinking about the wheelchair when they are with me but the question is, why? Yesterday we had a lady say something so significant to me. The lady at the Dept. of Motor Vehicles (Secretary of State) who only saw me for a few minutes, smiled and referred to me as “technically handicapped.” My daughter laughed in agreement with her and pointed out that here was another person seeing me as not actually disabled. I believe this is a spiritual thing. I don’t believe in my handicap as permanent or even see myself as disabled, therefore that emanates to others as well. Very interesting phenomenon. I appear to others as not belonging in a wheelchair even though my body believes I do. Paralyzed from the chest down, hands too. A C-6 spinal cord injury, I’m “technically handicapped.” By faith I say I’m technically healed. But that reality is rising up and the spiritual truth will override the physical. It’s becoming more real every day. I am pursuing the full manifestation of my healing through Christ. I have learned a lot about faith and healing and I like sharing this with others. Thus the blog. I have a Youtube channel, "lynnesuszek", where I teach and share testimonies. Please check out our ministry at www.Hisability.com!

Why Wouldn’t There Be Formulas In Faith?

Healing is a testimony to God’s love, ability and compassion for us. When healing and faith are in action, results are exciting! We want to help as many people as possible learn how to get theirs too. Faith works through knowledge. There are plenty of formulas in faith.

Whenever I have learned about healing from testimonies, I’ve used them all as templates for my own healings.

What’s the point of having a testimony if people cannot learn how to get their own from your testimony? When we hear healing journeys, we want to learn a part of faith that hasn’t been in our own arsenal of spiritual warfare, When I heard Pat Robertson say he rebuked a hurricane, I was inspired to rebuke tornadoes. Ever since we learned how to rebuke the bad weather, Michigan has had an absence of tornado season! About 10 years or so maybe longer, we’ve been rebuking tornadoes and for the most part all bad storms. I learned how to do this in faith from a Testimonies by Pat Robertson. I would call that a formula. A faith formula!

When I needed healing for a third-degree burn, I watched testimonies and healing journeys. I was inspired by Mike Hoesh and followed his testimony as a template in faith. I held onto the fact that it worker for Mike and I could do it too. God was pointing out to me how faith works, saying “see?” And so I held onto that testimony as I decided I would be healed without surgery. I also called a friend as God directed me. As I told my friend about the burn, she was able to tell me she had the same exact thing happened to her. She told me the doctors insisted she would need surgery but she didn’t. Far as I’m concerned, God told me to contact Debbie so that I would learn from her then I’m on the right track and to keep going.

When I learned about “walking away from the flu, that testimony helped me believe for other healings such as infection, back pain and flu. I used that testimony as a faith formula. My faith was in God’s Word and my action brought it into the physical.

I use my own testimonies As faith templates and faith formulas to remind me of the success and stir up faith for the next one. “This worked before and it will work again” “God’s Word never fails” and I use testimonies to picture the way it happened before. God wants us to succeed and not lack confidence. I believe only reason someone would try to say that faith is not a formula is from a religious spirit. Religious spirits trick you into believing that God never does the same thing twice. A religious spirit says “it’s not about formulas, it’s about relationship.” The idea that God does not work in formulas is absolutely ridiculous. Everything in creation was the formula. All the stars and planets are in formula formation. Everything is down to perfect timing. The laws of nature, the laws of aerodynamics, the laws of gravity and the laws that supersede gravity for flight are formulas. It’s just religious to say healing is not a formula. Legalism hides behind statements that sound pious and humble but are actually limiting and denying the power of God to be used with confidence. It’s statements like that that hold back understanding for the next miracle. It is by knowledge that faith works. Faith works through knowledge and we can have confidence in laws of faith just like electricity. We are not serving a “sovereign” God who heals only in mysterious ways, different every time. God is not trying to be mysterious. God is not wishing for us to be ignorant of His ways.

A religious spirit is seducing God’s people, holding them back from taking off in faith with confidence. Beware brethren of an evil unbelieving heart which tells people there are no formulas, leaving people ignorant, unsure and unsuccessful. God wants us to know His ways. God wants us to operate in faith the way we operate a vehicle. We CAN learn faith. It’s the power of God in us, through us. Why would healing not be a formula?
