Meat Or Milk

When pursuing your manifestation of healing, (after you know God wants you well) (and after you realize you’re already healed/not really sick) there is a level of maturity that is finally meat and potatoes. Knowing God wants you well is baby food. Knowing you’re really not sick is meat.

1 Peter 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

Milk is beginners food. “God wants you well” is milk and so many people still need the milk of the word. Growing up in your salvation is understanding how to manifest the wellness and stay well. Understanding righteousness is basic training but people are rejecting the basics as “hyper-grace.”

1 Corinthians 3:2. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.

Meat is for mature believers. Those that can digest the righteousness mindset are able to mature. Supernatural thinking is meat. Milk of the word is given to carnal or natural thinkers.

Actually “carne” means meat which is equivalent to the sensual or sense knowledge. Seeing, tasting and touching etc is carnal thinking. But mature “meat” is the spiritual mind which brings life to the physical body. That’s a lot to think about. To be carnal means immature and sense-thinking. It leads to death. Carnal thinkers can only digest the milk of the word, beginners stuff. Spiritual thinking is mature “the meat of the word.”

Hebrews 5:12-14 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Righteousness is also meat. Understanding your status with God is distinguishing good from evil. Sin is only counted for the unsaved. The saved are not sinning. After learning your righteousness in Christ, you understand everything else. Calling good evil and evil good is warned against. Grace teaching is being called evil today. Legalism is being taught and that is evil. Warning that you may not be going to heaven even though you are saved because of your lack of “commitment” is evil. Anti-grace teaching and sin-focus is evil. Call a spade a spade ♠️.

If you think God sends sickness on you to teach you something, you’re not even getting the milk of the word. If you’re focused on trying not to sin, you’re not learning the meat of salvation which is righteousness.

A mature teacher of the Word is Joseph Prince. He has the strongest understanding of righteousness I’ve heard. If he is too much for you, Andrew Wommack has the best milk of the word, and most people still need it.
