You Might Have A Religious Spirit If

Religiousness doesn’t sound evil to many people. In fact religion is usually touted as a desirable thing related to God and church-going. The truth is that religiousness is evil and anti-Christ. Religion is the opposite of the gospel of Grace. In fact the Mormon Church tries to pass itself off as a Christian religion “The Church of Jesus Christ” but it is the opposite of the grace preached by Paul in Romans, Galatians and Hebrews. The Jehova’s Witness Church claims to be Christian yet grace is a foreign concept there. There’s only rules and strict obedience, guilt, condemnation and pride there, The Catholic Church claims to be Christian; not one sermon is ever taught on our righteousness through Christ, “not of works lest any man should boast” which is grace. The focus about sin, rituals, prayers, beads, sitting, kneeling, penance and not on the new spirit Jesus gave us is evil and religious to the core. Not to mention prayers and homage to saints which is idolatry. The Baptist church preaches salvation by grace but after that you had best be on strictly good behavior or you’ll ether be rejected as one who really never got saved to start or backslidden with your feet hanging over a cliff into hell needing to be rescued.

You might be religious if…

  • …you think living like the Amish is holy
  • …you think guilt and condemnation feels correct at church
  • …you think Little House On The Prairie is the life God wants for everyone.
  • …you feel grace is excusing sin.
  • …you think you’re supposed to get up at 5am to read your Bible in order to please God.
  • …you think you should confess your sins as often as possible
  • you think God gives sickness to people to teach them something

The religious spirit leads you into harm, isolation, fear, pride, mental illnesses, all destruction and foolish decisions. Bipolar Manic Depression and delusions have been known to be caused by religious spirits. People are able to make decisions, with the help of others, to stop believing the delusions and stop entertaining those spirits. Watch A Beautiful Mind about John Nash who was able to overcome major delusions and become functional again with his wife’s help. And contrary to what the movie stated, he really did it without medication! I read the true story outside of the movie. This encouraged me and inspired me to believe it was possible for our friend Karee who had a manic depression “schizoaffective disorder” package with voices and delusions of the Rapture on the side. She was being told to walk for miles over and over at night, leaving all safety behind. Cell phone, backpack with her belongings/wallet, glasses and her bike were left in the middle of nowhere or at home while she manically was driven to walk and even jump into a river for days; picked up by police, hospitalized, medicated and rehabilitated, she finally is now free and not believing these voices are God. With our help she is now finally resisting this religious spirit and embracing the grace of God. Karee no longer is bombarded by condemning voices driving her to jump through religious hoops to prove her worthiness.

There’s no faith that talks about God’s grace offered to mankind except the true Christian gospel. The rest are either impostors or they’re doing it wrong. Religion leads to depression, mental illness, self destruction and death. Free yourself from religion and enter God’s rest through accepting Grace in Christ.

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ (Grace) for it is the power unto salvation Romans 1:16
