Hyper Sovereignty

The word hyper is used so much lately describing “extreme-grace” teachings, whatever that is. For those teaching on grace vs. law, the term hyper-grace is like saying hyper-gospel. It can’t be done. However ill-applied I feel that term may be, I’ve finally found a use for the word hyper that is refreshingly appropriate. I say; the use of the word “sovereign” referring to God, has become seriously perverted in meaning;  it has truly  earned a place in the Hall of Hyper.

The NIV Bible is single-handedly responsible for slipping us the mickey-slogan “Sovereign Lord,”  over and over, infecting our minds and hearts hypnotically.

NEWSFLASH  The word sovereign and sovereignty are not in our King James Bible. The NIV substitutes the word sovereign for the word “God” over 300 times. Instead of “Lord God” NIV uses the term “sovereign Lord.According to the Oxford English Dictionary the name “sovereign Lord” is one of 99 names the Muslims use for their God, Allah. Notice Allah is not called Abba (daddy) like our God. Our God is LOVE. He is LIGHT and in him is no darkness. Our God has attributes of mercy, forgiveness, healing and deliverance from evil.  Muslims are living in puppeteerthe kind of fear that only a god of unpredictable decisions can cast on his people. The subconscious belief that our Father God plays us like a game of chess or even as the Almighty Puppeteer is so opposite His character that it is blasphemous.

This word sovereign  is super-qualified to earned its new title Hyper-Sovereignty and should be exposed as the most dangerous doctrine on the planet today. The word eventually got introduced into

theology in certain religious circles and owes its impetus to John Calvin. Hyper-Sovereignty is castrating our faith, rendering our churches impotent and causing atheism.

God is sovereign in the sense that He is Almighty. His sovereignty is only limited by His own goodness, mercy and His promises. However, even though He is all powerful, His character forbids Him to lie. What He lays down as law, therein lies a boundary as such, a limitation for God himself as it were.

You might be hyper-sovereignty  minded if you say things like: “God is in control,” “you never know what God is going to do,”  “sometimes God says no,”  “some sickness is from God trying to teach you something,” “whatever His will is, “in His time.” These phrases are thrown around supposedly offering to bring some measure of comfort to those who mourn and go through tragedy. Yet these statements are actually causing people to blame God for things He never willed to happen to us. The rapes, murders, abuse and disease in life are curses that have no business in a Christian’s life.  The world listens to this stuff and is told that every death was God’s timing, every crime is God-allowed. It’s hyper-sovereignty and it is not representing God’s character at all. Atheism is 100% due to an unnecessarily offended view of God. God isn’t the Destroyer, Satan is! Who cometh not but for to steal, kill and destroy our lives? The devil. (John 10:10) “Whoa! to him who calls good evil, and evil good!” Isaiah 5:20. The answer to all the pain and suffering is that God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)  We Christians have the ability to live imperviously to the beggarly elements of this world, we can change the weather,  walk through walls, shake a snake bite off, and not be harmed by poison. Yet as NT believers the church still lives most vulnerably to every evil work and the natural realm. We are sons of God living like scared mice. The whole earth groans awaiting the children of God to dominate the world as was originally planned by our Creator. To hear and learn about our rightful dominance you must listen to ministries who teach these truths and live them. Curry Blake of John G. Lake Ministries and Andrew Wommack Ministries are two of them.

Stop judging God’s will by every experience that you have. The God of the Bible causes all things to work unto good for those that love Him (Rom 8:28), He doesn’t cause bad things to happen so that good things come of it. God’s word says “all the promises of God are yes and Amen, unto the glory of God ……by (through) us” God’s power flows through His people who will allow Him to flow. He asks us to be vessels, he calls us to use authority in faith.

If you are not hyper-sovereignty minded, you believe and therefore speak the goodness of God, forgetting not His promises. You say things like; I am the head and not the tail,  I have victory in Jesus! I am above and not beneath; I’m not subject to the beggarly elements of this world; I have the mind of Christ; no weapon formed against me prospers. God’s promises are yes and Amen! I can do all things through Christ. I’m healed; be healed, arise and walk!
