I had a vision in which God related something about my healing. Movies can be quite relative to spiritual things. Anything we’ve seen can be a source of information and God often talks to us through movies, books and the testimonies of others. I have seen the movie “The Wizard of Oz” several times and as you may recall, Dorothy has a pair of ruby slippers which are the source of power she needs to get her back home. Dorothy didn’t know that she had the power to go home right from the beginning of the movie. She was given the slippers as soon as she arrived in the land of Oz. They were worn by the wicked witch of the west until Dorothy’s house landed on and killed that witch. (Satan) And Satan wanted them back, represented by the wicked witch of the east. When we are born spiritually, in Christ, we immediately possess the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead. That spirit dwells in us our whole lives and we never use it unless we learn that we can. When we learn to believe we have it, we can use it. I believe God explained to me that I have the power to be healed dwelling in me but like Dorothy, I don’t know how to use it. I completely believe this and like Dorothy, I could have been healed as soon as I became injured. I lacked awareness and I am still learning how to use my faith. The ruby slippers are my faith. I have faith to raise the dead. You have it too, if you are born-again.
Isaiah 28:9 “Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little. 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people. 12 to whom He said, “This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest,” and, “This is the refreshing” — yet they would not hear.
I see here that God teaches us a little at a time, through revelation knowledge as we use our gift of tongues (stammering lips and another tongue) He gives us rest and refreshing through more knowledge of Him. The gift of tongues causes refreshing, if we use it. You can get the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gift of tongues so easily now. Even Youtube has directions.
